How did we get ourselves into this never-ending game of Simon Says? We told the French no to 3 more months of inspections, than Simon says, we may need more than a year to visit all the suspected sites. The Europeans wanted to triple the weapon inspectors and we said no. Then Simon said, We need more than 1,000 inspectors to check for WMDs. Simon says we found WMDs then Simon says, no we didnt. And Simon just keeps on talking, confusing us time and time again. Chemical Ali is dead, no Chemical Ali is not dead, and yes Chemical Ali is dead. Saddam is dead, is not dead, is dead again, and is not dead again. We found WMDs, we didnt find WMDs, oh yes we did in a barn, no on an air base, no in a hole in the ground, STOP! Simon, just shut the hell up and go back to playing with your Iraqi Deck of Death playing cards and leave us the hell alone

I cannot believe that people are actually complaining about having Universal Heath Care in America? We are the only industrialized nation in the entire world that does not have Universal Health Care. Once again they are simply following a CRAPPY (Conservative Regurgitated Ambiguous Propaganda) party-line way of thinking. Idiots like Rushbo and Mike Wiener are trying to convince you that under Universal Health Care you would be forced to see third-rate doctors, wait hours for service, and be treated in inadequate facilities. DuhEarth to Right-Wing-Wackos, you just explained the current Health Care Service to the majority of Americans! We will take a third-rate (and we know you mean third-world) doctor over no doctor, or wait for hours to be seen instead of being refused to be seen.
What can be said? Instead of disarming Iraq, we dropped a bomb on Ali, killing 16 members of his family to include his Father, Mother, Uncle, Aunt, and many others. Besides taking his family and home away, we took his arms, that’s right we blew-off both of his arms… Oh, the hospital he was taken to, had no painkillers, that’s right, little Ali suffered for more than two days and nights, endearing the full unmediated pain of missing arms.. The next time you get a headache, think of Ali’s pain and get over it.
Why did we let this happen? Not the bombing of Ali’s family, there is no rationale for that. Where the hell were our Army medics? My God, Ali wasn’t buried under a blow-up building; he was in a Hospital… Why are our medics not taking control of the bombed-out Hospitals? Why are we securing the wealth/oil (banks and Oil wells) but not Hospitals?
NYC Mayor Bloomberg recently announced a dramatic “doomsday” budget plan to slash at least $1 billion from the city’s budget (possibly much more) unless substantial help is provided form state and federal governments. Bloomberg’s plan includes firing 10,000 city employees and closing 40 firehouses. Wait a minute, isn’t Bloomberg worth $4.8 billion and how many 911 Heroes will he fire to close those 40 firehouses? If liberal Super-Rich Ted Turner can write a $1 billion check to the United Nation, why cannot Conservative Mayor Mike do the same for our 911 Hero Firefighters?
Just saw something interesting on TV. CNN (Conservative News Network) showed some casualty stats, Iraqi POWs 7,000 plus (provided by US sources) and Iraqi Casualties Unknown (not provided by Iraqi Government). What Iraqi Government are they talking about? The one we bombed to hell?
It depends on what “Is” is? That use to be my favorite political statement and I thought it would never be topped. Well, I was wrong;

“There are no knowns. There are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns – that is to say, there are things that we now know we don’t know but there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we do not know we don’t know. So when we do the best we can and we pull all this information together, and we then say well that’s basically what we see as the situation, that is really only the known knowns and the known unknowns. And each year we discover a few more of those unknown unknowns.”
Secretary of Defense
PS: “knowns” is not a real English word….
A democracy cannot exist without opposing views. When a nation tilts all the way to one side, it flips over and becomes stuck in an upside down world were wrong is right and dissension is intolerable. It is time for America to upright its self by leaning to the other side a little, find its center and be done with one sided politics.
